About Us:
Every journey begins with the first step.  The first step took place on October 27, 1998.  Twenty -two people met in the lounge of the Columbia City United Methodist Church to discuss the needs of the homeless in the Whitley County area.  The interest was overwhelming.  Our journey had begun.

 Vision:

Interfaith Mission will be innovative in establishing and coordinating services that will effectively meet the changing
needs of the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless.

Interfaith Mission will collaborate, cooperate and coordinate with other agencies, county offices and other organizations which provide food, clothing, utility assistance, rent, legal and other assistance so as not to duplicate services.

Interfaith Mission will educate Whitley County communities about homelessness and poverty, and about the programs and resources that are available in this county.

Interfaith Mission will fulfill all of its corporate purposes, as we believe the gospel of Jesus Christ has mandated us
to do, while being an ecumenical presence in the county.

Interfaith Mission will invest, expend, and distribute funds of the Corporation as deemed most appropriate to accomplish the purposes for which it exists.

Interfaith Mission will do all acts and things necessary , convenient or expedient to carry out our mission as long as such acts are consistent with the Articles of Incorporation and the laws of the State of Indiana, and with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
