Pontoon Progressive Dinner on Loon Lake
July 19, 2008
Thank you to all who made this event successful.
About the Elegant Evening:
- 128 tickets were sold for the event.
- 80 volunteers were involved in this event and 65 worked the day of the event
Appetizers included: A buffet donated by Betsy Gates, marinated shrimp, asparagus croissants,
bacon wrapped wheat thins, three dips w/fresh vegetables, creamy cheese puffs
Dinners included two options :
Apricot Chicken with wild rice, green bean/bacon bundles, rolls and green salad
with strawberries and pineapple
or
Pork with savory sauce, parsley potatoes, green bean/bacon bundles, rolls and green salad
with strawberries and pineapple
Desserts served: Buffet donated by The Lighthouse Board and Staff, Raspberry Cream Pie, Apple
Strudel, Berry Strudel, Cheesecake, Chocolate Cream Pie, Chocolate Cappuccino and Raspberry
Cream Cakes, Chocolate Peanutbutter Pie, Texas Sheetcake, Lemonlime Cake, Banana nut Bread,
Apple Pie, German Chocolate Cake
Boat Drivers: Kent Erickson, Rick Miller, Jim Brock, Gary Hill, Tim Brower, Gary Hicks, Carol Kurtz,
Mike Zahm, Denny Blaugh, Dave White.
Homeowners:
- Appetizers were served at the homes of: Ken and Carol Ebbinghouse, Rick and Tina Miller,
Joe and Theresa Sidoti
- Dinner was served at the homes of: Tim and Ruby Brower, Gary and Louise Hill,
Gary and Janet Townsend, John and Karen Scheidelman
- Desserts were served at the homes of Terry and Judy Huffman, Kent and Renee Erickson,
Tom Sawyer.
